Rick Daniels grew up in Washington DC where he attended DC Public Schools. Unfortunately, he was diagnosed with lead poisoning which resulted in a literacy and learning disability. Having this disability proved to be very difficult for him but he managed to overcome it. Rick loves to read his books and share his relatable story with young students. 

Barbara B. Belton

Barbara D. Belton, a former middle grades teacher, artist, and fashion designer, inspires children to read more positive books that will lead to positive outcomes. She passionately writes about family encouragement, building strong bonds, and celebrating one another. Observation lead her to believe children do exceedingly well achieving a challenge with the support of their siblings as opposed to sibling bullying.
